"Dominique" is a 2024 action thriller directed by Michael S. Ojeda, featuring Oksana Orlan in the titular role. While piloting her plane over Colombia's La Guajira desert, she is shot down by the notorious De La Cruz cartel. Surviving the crash, Dominique eliminates several armed assailants and makes her way to the nearby town of San Lucas.

In San Lucas, Dominique encounters Julio (Sebastián Carvajal), a kind-hearted local who offers her shelter. Unbeknownst to her, Julio is a police officer investigating corruption within his own force. As Dominique attempts to maintain a low profile, she becomes entangled in the town's pervasive violence and corruption, facing threats from both the local police, led by Chief Santiago (Maurice Compte), and the De La Cruz cartel.

When the family that provided her refuge becomes targeted by these oppressive forces, Dominique is compelled to act. Drawing upon her assassin training, she takes a stand to protect her newfound allies, confronting her own past demons in the process. The film delves into themes of redemption, loyalty, and the moral complexities of vigilantism.

"Dominique" was released in U.S. theaters on October 11, 2024, and subsequently in Colombian cinemas on December 5, 2024. The film has been noted for its intense action sequences and Orlan's compelling portrayal of a woman torn between self-preservation and altruism.
