Plot Summary:

Since their last adventure, JJ, Sophie, and Sophie's mother, Kate, have settled in Langley, Virginia. Despite their close bond, Sophie, now a high school teenager, becomes frustrated with JJ's overprotectiveness and constant training.

Sophie's high school choir is selected to perform at a G7 event in Italy, prompting JJ to volunteer as a chaperone. Accompanying them are Nancy (the school's vice principal), Ryan (Sophie's crush), and Collin (Sophie's best friend). Unbeknownst to them, a larger threat looms: a terrorist organization has obtained information about Soviet-era suitcase nuclear weapons hidden across Europe.

In Florence, Sophie, Collin, and Ryan sneak out, leading to Collin's kidnapping by Simon Crane, a notorious criminal with ties to JJ's past. Crane's employer, Nancy, orchestrates the abduction to coerce Collin's father, David Kim—a covert CIA operative—to retrieve activation codes for the hidden nuclear devices.

JJ and David infiltrate an MI6 safe house to acquire necessary equipment, inadvertently releasing a cage of finches that complicate their escape. They proceed to the Anzio military base, where JJ participates in a boxing match as a diversion, allowing Sophie and Bobbi (another CIA agent) to hack into the base's server and download the required passcodes.

The team discovers that Nancy intends to detonate a nuclear device beneath the Vatican during the choir's performance. JJ and Sophie race against time to locate and disarm the bomb. In a climactic sequence, they manage to retrieve the kill switch from Crane and prevent the explosion with mere seconds to spare.

The film concludes with Sophie recognizing Collin's affection for her, leading to a budding romance. JJ and Kate solidify their relationship, while David begins dating Bobbi. The narrative blends action, humor, and heartfelt moments, emphasizing themes of family, trust, and the challenges of balancing personal and professional lives.
