Quam's Money (2020) is a Nigerian action-comedy film directed by Kayode Kasum and written by Chinaza Onuzo, serving as a sequel to the 2018 film New Money. The story follows Quam Omole (played by Falz), a former security guard who suddenly becomes a millionaire through a cryptocurrency windfall. Reveling in his newfound wealth, Quam embraces a lavish lifestyle, earning the nickname "The Patron Saint of Swag" and flaunting his status as Nigeria’s "most-confirmed bachelor" .

However, Quam’s fortunes take a drastic turn when he falls victim to an elaborate scam orchestrated by Ozzy (Nse Ikpe-Etim), a cunning femme fatale who leads a group of fraudsters known as the "Borrow Borrow Boys." After losing a staggering ₦500 million in a fraudulent investment scheme, Quam embarks on a chaotic and often comedic mission to recover his money . His journey is riddled with misadventures, including encounters with shady characters, incompetent detectives, and his own poor decision-making, which repeatedly lands him in trouble.

Along the way, Quam crosses paths with allies like Toun (Jemima Osunde), a strong-willed woman who challenges his impulsiveness, and Hadiza (Michelle Dede), a detective attempting—albeit clumsily—to help him navigate the criminal underworld . The film blends slapstick humor with social commentary, highlighting themes of greed, vigilance, and the pitfalls of sudden wealth. Despite its comedic tone, the narrative critiques Quam’s naivety, as his lack of financial literacy and reckless trust in strangers lead to his downfall .

The climax sees Quam finally outsmarting the fraudsters and reclaiming his money, though the resolution leaves him seemingly unchanged—back to square one without any apparent personal growth . The film’s mixed reception praised its energetic performances (particularly Nse Ikpe-Etim’s villainous turn) and vibrant visuals but criticized its repetitive gags, disjointed plot twists, and Falz’s over-the-top portrayal of Quam .

Produced by Inkblot Productions and FilmOne, Quam's Money premiered in four Nigerian cities before its theatrical release on December 11, 2020, and became a box-office success despite polarizing reviews.
