Transformers One (2024) is a CG-animated prequel directed by Josh Cooley, exploring the origins of the Autobots and Decepticons on Cybertron. The film delves into the early lives of Orion Pax (Optimus Prime) and D-16 (Megatron), once close friends and miners who lack transformation capabilities due to a caste system imposed by the ruling class.

Their journey begins when they discover a distress signal from Alpha Trion, one of the Primes, revealing the location of the Matrix of Leadership. Accompanied by Elita-1 and B-127, they venture to the surface, uncovering the truth about Sentinel Prime's betrayal of the Primes and his alliance with the Quintessons.
